Camping Permits
You will require a camping permit if camping outside the confines of a recognised commercial campground/caravan park. The permit is to be be attached to your tent and should be clearly visible to Park Rangers. Before arriving on Fraser Island you MUST COLLECT a Fraser Island Information pack containing maps and important safety information along with your Vehicle Service Permit and / or Camping Tag.
Fraser Island Camping Costs
$4.50 per person per night
$18.00 per family per night (2 Adults and accompanying children)

If you are staying in accommodation on Fraser Island camping permits do not apply, but you will still be required to purchase your Fraser Island Vehicle Permit.
